I specialize in providing counseling for musicians and other creative individuals including visual artists, writers, dancers, and more. I enjoy helping clients navigate life transitions, manage anxiety, overcome depression, process trauma, and challenge unhelpful beliefs that leave them feeling stuck. As a pre-licensed professional currently pursuing my LPCC licensure, I am dedicated to supporting creative people on their journeys.
I believe in the power of the individual and a person-centered approach to counseling and therapy, including specialized counseling for musicians, visual artists, writers, and dancers. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I'm here to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and aspirations. I understand that each person is creatively unique, which is why I tailor my therapeutic techniques to suit your individual needs and goals.
If you're seeking a compassionate, down-to-earth therapist to support you through life's challenges, I'm here to help! Together, we can work toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.

In the state of Minnesota, professionals pursuing LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) licensure are required to complete 4,000 clinical hours prior to becoming licensed after completing graduate school. I am currently in this period. I meet with my supervisor, Pegann Truax, MA, LPCC regularly and consult with her regarding my caseload. If you have any further questions regarding this, do not hesitate to reach out.
